You have the tools and resources you need to cultivate greater self-awareness and emotional balance. We can explore ways to use them for your benefit.

Why choose us?

Here are some of the advantages of our unique practice:

  • You will know you are prioritized from the moment we connect for your 15-minute consultation through joining the practice. As many are increasingly experiencing, it can be difficult to reach a member of your healthcare team. With Our HHHC, this will not be a challenge. We also make it simple to submit your claims with your insurance company.

  • Our first visit starts off with a 75-minute initial consultation in which we will focus on you and your journey towards improved mental wellness. This will take time as we delve into your history, current circumstances, and goals that support your vision. Your follow up appointments will continue to support your growth. You will have ample time to ask questions and review your concerns. Appointment times vary depending on the nature of the visit and are 30 or 50 minutes.

  • Our experiences, for better or worse, have the power to shape our perspectives. Care from Our HHHC is no different. I bring a unique perspective to treating the mind, body, and spirit as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, previously specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, in which I work with patients on the emotional and physical manifestations of illness. I have been fortunate to be a part of some patients’ healing at a faster than expected rate. Our care philosophy is based on the hope and experience of facilitating positive mental health changes through treating your current symptoms as well as embarking on a discovery of the possible underlying causes of symptoms.

We leverage the knowledge from effective traditional and modern practices that cross territorial boundaries with a focus on Western, Caribbean, South and East Asian cultures to provide comprehensive care that is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. During our sessions, we’ll discuss a plan that may include therapy, medication, lab testing, behavioral activities, dietary recommendations, nutraceuticals, and/or supplements.

Our additional specialty

We have treatment experience of the following:

  • In the context of infertility and pregnancy loss, my commitment to providing personalized care and support is unwavering, as I understand the profound impact these experiences can have on a woman's emotional well-being.

I feel deeply humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to support numerous women on their journey through infertility and pregnancy loss. Throughout my practice, I have been privileged to play a role in facilitating successful conceptions and providing compassionate care for those coping with the emotional challenges associated with fertility struggles and pregnancy loss. Drawing on my professional expertise and empathetic understanding, I strive to empower and guide my patients as they navigate the complex and often heart-wrenching path towards healing and hope.

  • I also specialize in addressing digestive disorders, recognizing the intricate relationship between the gut and brain. I firmly believe in the importance of understanding and nurturing the gut-brain axis, as it plays a crucial role in both mental and physical health.

By adopting a holistic approach to treatment, I aim to alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms while concurrently addressing any underlying mental health concerns, ultimately promoting a harmonious balance within the body and mind.

  • Furthermore, I hold a particular interest and specialty in treating women who identify as Black and/or feel like a ‘hyphenated-American’, acknowledging the unique experiences and challenges they may encounter. I write this as a first-generation American, first-generation college graduate from West Indian ancestry, and married to a man from East India, among a host of other identities that co-exist at varying degrees of compatibility as yours do as well.

While my patient population is diverse and inclusive, I am grateful that individuals from these specific communities often seek my support, valuing my empathetic insight of their distinct cultural backgrounds. My commitment to providing personalized care extends to all individuals, ensuring that each patient's unique cultural, ethnic, faith, and personal context is respected and integrated into their treatment plan.
